Crown and Bridge Services

Studio 12 offers all complex technical services, including; implant cases (titanium, ceramic and zirconia custom abutments), split posts, root caps, fixed free bridges, milling and all-ceramic (Procera-Alumina & Zirconia) crowns. Studio 12 technicians specialise in challenging cases and enjoy liaising with dentists to ensure a successful outcome.

Degussa precious alloy is the selection of choice for crown and bridge work, due to its high quality and proven reliability. The porcelain products used are Ivoclar Classic, Ducera All Ceram & Nobel Rondo. Further information about these products can be obtained by contacting our Laboratory Manager.

Acrylic Services

Studio 12 uses state-of-the-art techniques including detailed denture tinting, clear palate and rugae. Dual laminate splints and professional mouthguards, bleach trays and other acrylic services are also offered. Further details about these appliances or services can be obtained by contacting our Laboratory Manager.

Requirements

The minimum requirements to be forwarded to Studio 12 for optimum results are:

  • Rubber based impression
  • Stone model of opposing teeth
  • Occlusal registration

Shade Taking

Studio 12 ceramists provide a shade taking service for all cases involving ceramics. Shade appointments can be organised by contacting Studio 12 directly, or alternatively, the patient can contact Studio 12 to arrange a mutually convenient time.

For shades taken in the surgery, please use a Vita Lumin Vacuum shade guide. We request that all details are included on the laboratory sheets provided and enclosed with impressions. Photos can be emailed, or sent with the impressions and models.

Delivery

For pick-up and delivery around Brisbane Couriers Please is used and for interstate jobs Toll Priority is used. To organise freight, please contact Studio 12 to inform that the job is ready. Please ensure it is securely packaged, clearly labelled and ready to be picked up.
